Just seven boys on an island? Mmm.... the back story will need to have sufficient detail to hook readers and the characters will have to be very well rounded, otherwise it won’t work. However this book will almost certainly be a good read as the author, M A Bennett, published her first novel, STAGS, last year to great acclaim and big sales. Always good to read a story where the underdog triumphs- hoping this is the case here!
