This book does seem quite similar to Lord of the Flies (which I read in high school). The cover is quite basic but it would still stand out on a book shelf. The prologue seemed interesting and I loved the descriptive narrative. However, I lost interest once I had moved onto the other chapters. I don't think that this book is aimed at me. I feel it may be more suited to teenage boys.
