I really wanted to enjoy this book, I usually love a teen novel. Unfortunately I could barely get past the first chapter. I found the incongruent of English and American terms (£ then mom and several others) really difficult to get past. It didn't read smoothly and I disliked the "stereotypical geek who can't get girls" impression, being a proud geek myself. Maybe it's just me overthinking this but I really couldn't get into it.
