Not what I expected
The very beginning made me think of Lord of the Flies straight away and I thought this would be a rip off of that. As I continued reading I found it quite funny. The life through the lens of a self professed "Geek" was amusing. As a fan of Desert Island Discs, I can see how it's being used to portray personalities. Though the first look only covers his first day and the crash is 3 years later, I kinda want to know what makes him hate the other pupils so much. Who else survives?
Easy reading that seems to be written for teenagers.
