There’s something about this books that truly resonates with me. I see myself in the thirteen year boy helplessly following in his parents footsteps who are academics. Though I’m 21 and wanting to be an academic and was alright at sports. But I love to listen to older songs and read books. Already it manages to touch on truths of real life as a teenager in an English school. That said, the boarding school/American cross-over bring a whole new tale to the likes of cheesy American high school movies, Wild Child, and typically English boarding school stories like Harry Potter! I am hooked and would easy read this in one sitting! Couldn’t put it down. Gutted when I got to the end!
