So looking at the colours on the cover I've a feeling it's not going to be a feel good book. And given there's a reference to it being a modern day Lord of the Flies I get the picture - brutal, violent, mysterious. Will this be more a young adult novel or dystopian society book? Not sure. Would try the first few chapters to see if it grabs me.
