I didn't enjoy this at all, and couldn't bring myself to finish it. I was expecting so much more than this gave, and was instead met with dull and frustrating characters, not much plot, and just overall disappointment, considering how hyped I was to read this when I knew it was a thing. I did appreciate, however, the realistic portrayal of bullying in a school environment, and the frustrating focus on sports in schools, in what should be a primarily academic environment. I related to this very strongly and was happy to see that reflected in fiction, but the rest of the story was just not for me. I really tried, but I could not do it, which is a shame because I was looking forward to this. I personally think that M.A. Bennett as a writer is just not for me, as the problems I had with this were also present when I read S.T.A.G.S. a few weeks ago.
