I loved reading M.A Bennets other book S.T.A.G.S so as soon as I saw that this book was being published, I wanted to read it right away.

This book follows the character Link, an outcast in his new prestigious school, Osney Heritage. Miserable, Link wants to leave school but only one condition: to attend the schools summer trip with his class tormentors. After a terrible plane accident, Link finds himself stranded on an Island with only his bullies for company. What could go wrong?

I love how this book focuses on real life issues such as bullying as gives readers a first hand view allowing us to sympathise. As the book gradually developed, it was quite suprising how Link grew more powerful. However, as his character came more out of his shell, I found that the power got too much for his head, becoming a bit rude and arrogant. Although the characters weren't so likeable, it was all part of the excitement of the book. It was especially interesting to see how the students interacted with each other.

The writing style was not so sophisticated but did match the narrator, and was suitable considering it is a YA book.

Overall, I did really enjoy the book. The ending had some plot twists to make it more intense. I would definitely recommend.
