I loved this book so so much! This novel was fantastically written, littered with clever hints as to what was going on and clues scattered throughout but not so many that the average reader will figure it out. Although I realised what was happening and was worried I'd ruined it for myself, I hadn't - the twists kept coming and made sure that M. A. Bennett is going to be an autobuy author for me. I already can't wait for her future works. I absolutely loved this unique take on the stranded on a island tale, which was masterfully written and left me wishing I had another hundred pages to go. The first hundred or so we're a little slow but set up the characters and relationships. I loved how Link wasn't made to be a loveable character but a realistic one, and this story was a triumph.
