The bareness of the front did caught my attention which intrigued me but however upon reading the blurb I was given the classic Peter and the lost boys and lord of the flies type vibe from it. Quickly getting hooked I found the point of view of this male character relatable in the sense of how going to a new school tough but having mean peers can be much harder. Despite this I loved getting to know the characters and seeing the6 the group of teenagers were going to survive on a remote island by themselves.
The characters and the style of writing are brought together really well in a major part of such an amazing story plot which has allowed me to get a grip of a story that has been amazingly written.
