We first meet Jen and get a glimpse of her chaotic lifestyle in the opening chapter as she prepares to take daughter Lauren to Plymouth where she will study at the University.
There's quite a lot to smile about in the first few pages. It's very descriptive and amusing, from Mrs Pink, the one eyed bunny which goes everywhere with Lauren (until she forgets her when they set off for Plymouth), Jen's father, who definitely doesn't have dementia but is very random and scatty, her estranged husband Mike and the women he left her for.
I think this would be a book I would enjoy reading judging by the first look I've had.
