This story is fun, light-hearted, easy-to read and interesting. Jen and her Dad are instantly likeable. Her ex-husband seems like a bit of an idiot and I found myself looking forward to seeing how the story would develop.
I also like that they have the stereotypical villian in the form of the local councillor who is one of those idiots that somehow seems to do really well in life due to their unfathomable confidence.
It has the potential to be a worthwhile read - not in a this is the most amazing story I've ever read but in an enjoyable, escape from every day life.
