I read this while on holiday, and honestly it was such a perfect summer read. The writer clearly has a real passion for gin, and the whole plot line about creating a gin brewery to save their village museum gave the book another level beyond your basic romance. The romance was fun as well, but what really made it enjoyable was the multi generational aspect - both Jen's children and her father feature heavily in the story, making it something that everyone can enjoy. It's also a very giftable book, as I can imagine my aunt, as a gin connoisseur, would really enjoy reading it too, especially while on holiday with a glass of gin of her own. I recommend it as an easy and enjoyable summer read.
