Though that this was a really cute and easy to read slice of life, contemporary piece! The novel focuses on Jen, who is attempting to pick up the pieces after her husband leaves her for another woman. Jen, who upon hearing that the local museum is due to close, gathers a small crew in an attempt to create a little gin distillery in the basement of the museum to attract more tourists to visit the area and learn of the history of the relationship the town has had with gin and smuggling the alcohol back in the day as well as the introduction of a new love interest into her life when she needs one the most.
I thought this was a good well paced slow burn book and I loved the characters as well as jen's determination and for the most part cheery disposition. I would definitely recommend this to people who are looking for a more light-hearted read after reading something on the more heavy side!
