Easy no-brainer
This is a quick, easy read.....perfect for a beach, pool or garden day.
There's absolutely nothing to tax your brain here, unless you think too deeply about one or two plot holes.
It has a good pace, and I raced through it. It's a simple enough story, following the usual formula for this sort of thing, and there are no surprises here how it all turns out in the end. And although I enjoyed it for a quick read it left me ultimately a little unsatisfied that there was nothing spectacular that made this stand out from all the others in this genre.....ask me about it again in a few weeks and I probably won't be able to remember much about it at all, although at the time of reading it was all pleasant enough.
