A light fun read! Jen's daughter has started uni, her son's in Canada, her Dad's moved in with her, and her husband's run off with the chemistry teacher. And the local museum is about to be closed down, taking her beloved job with it.

What she needs is a plan! With the help of her eccentric family, old friends and new (the silver fox, no less!) they set about finding a way to save the museum. This was warm, funny, characterful and not-too-mushy - although the end was pure Richard Curtis-style cheese. And there's gin, puppies and local landmarks to spot. What's not to love?

This was a fantastic beach read (or winter holidays read, if you ignore the cover) and I'll certainly look out for more by this author
