The bright colours of the cover and the title scream chick lit and it is, but with added botanicals.
The story centre around Jennifer, a nearly 50 woman, whose husband has left her for a much younger model. Jen works at the local museum, housed in a large house needing serious work and turns up at work day to find out that it closing because of this and is likely to be sold to a discount pub chain.
The ladies of the musuem decide that they won't take this lying down and proceed to try and raise funds to buy the building. ........in the meantime they realise that they will need a usp to make it work, enter Gin stage right.
This brought plenty of smiles to my face as it's an easy read and gives a potted guide to gin!
