I read this book quite rapidly. This adult contemporary novel is based on a theme that is very current! (GIN!). If you are looking for a perfect summer read then I think you have found it here. This is a light hearted story of Jen, whose husband has ran off with another woman. A whirlwind adventure ensues, to save a museum from closure. There are many interesting facts in this book regarding the distilling and flavouring of gin. I loved this aspect, as this is very topical at the moment. The Devon seaside setting was lovely, a nice feel of community finished it off nicely. The plot was interesting and not the normal run of the mill story of starting afresh. There were lots of humorous moments which made this book brilliant for easy reading.
