Jennifer is undergoing a bit of a midlife crisis. Her husband has left her for a younger woman, her mother has recently died, her son is travelling in Canada, and her daughter is just about to leave for university. On top of that, her job is under threat when the council decides to close the museum where she works!
With the help of her friends, and a handsome widower who is new to town, Jennifer sets about trying to buy the building and protect her job.
This is a really easy read, and would be great for taking on holiday, as its not a hard plot to follow, or lots of different charactets to try and remember. The characters are all believable, and there are no jagged plot shifts, or sudden twists to contend with.
I really enjoyed reading this, and think there is scope for a follow up. Highly recommended.
