So, I wasn't too sure what to make of this story - from the synopsis I thought there was no way I would enjoy it. I refused point blank to read books like fifty shades of grey etc. However, there was far more to it than that. For one thing, it was well-written and involving. You could feel like you understood how the characters were feeling at different times during the plotline. I liked the characters, which always helps. I also felt the author wrote enough descriptions while providing plenty of room for the imagination.
