What worries me about this book is the list of "for fans of" as I really dislike E L James and Sylvia Day; admittedly, I do love Jilly Cooper so that's a plus point. Sadly, all the way through the first impression I was waiting for it to dissolve in to one set piece of "erotica" after another and this did spoil the read for me.
The story so far is a good one and I could see becoming invested in Stella's quest to cope with intimacy. I am also surprisingly interested in Michael's background and as to why he has made the decision, or had it forced upon him by circumstance, to become an escort.
From the writing so far I have enjoyed it but I do have reservations about the further tale.
