This was a quick read made enjoyable by the humour, likeable characters and development of the storyline.
I find most romance novels very similar and the predictability can get boring. However, although there is the predictable "they end up together" plot, the storyline isn't too cliche. In fact it reminds me of a gender reversed "Pretty Woman". I think this is helped that the characters go beyond the norm for this genre- which is extremely refreshing. Stella has Aspergers and it is Michael who acts as the escort (I tend to find this role is reserved for women in many books of this genre)- this adds a touch of reality to the book- not everyone is movie star gorgeous, rich, smart and confident.
All in all, this was a fun read and a breath of fresh air to the romance genre. I would definitely recommend reading it.
