This is a contemporary book. Not suitable for younger readers as it has loads of sexual content and is fairly explicit. However the book was really interesting and unputdownable.
Stella works in economics. She is a wealthy successful women with High Functioning Autism. Her mother is telling her it’s time for her to settle down and she wants grandchildren. She feels she doesn’t know much about sex and relationships and needs more practice so she hires Michael a male escort.
Michael is a designer who gave up his dream job as a designer to look after his mum who is sick. But with medical expenses and bills to pay he has to make extra cash. He only sees customers once as they get clingy and doesn’t leave him alone.
But he makes an exception for Stella as she wants more lessons and says she will leave him alone after she’s learnt everything she needs to know.
But the more time they spend together the closer they get and the harder it is for her to not be jealous of other women and keep it strictly business. Stella is not very confident when it comes to sex and dating and is very insecure. She thinks Michael feels sorry for her. If only she knew how he really feels.
He is not like the men stela has slept with who just want sex and dosn’t care that she’s not comfortable or ready. Michael loves all of Stella’s aspie quirks without knowing she’s autistic.
