Going into yet another contemporary romance I was a bit ambivalent as to what I would encounter. This was a pleasant surprise, a speedy start to a lovely romance and with themes that didn't just stick to a superficial level. I liked the fact that the heroine is awkward and despite her chronic illness she's pragmatic and practical in her opinions on love and physical attraction. The writer combined cleverly the theme of love and disorder, in both a humorous and serious light. This is definitely an ingenious idea and it worked very well, especially because he made the characters relatable and real. This is what got me wanting to keep reading this novel. The reality of love in our times. If you do love your fluff but at the same time want something that sounds real on the page, then this is a read you must pick up or immediately add to your TBR.
