The characters are sketched with thought and love and they come together so beautifully. It’s gut wrenching and funny and lovely and beautiful.
The family, that’s a large part of their lives are just as relevant to the story as any other aspect. I was warmed to see cultural similarities and somehow that drew me all the more to the book.
Having worked with children in the spectrum, I know what they’re capable of, who they are and just how much more they can be. In heart, in mind and in love. I had read that the author herself has Asperger’s and perhaps that’s what made the writing so rhythmic with the right amount of hitched and dips.
