The romance novel The Kiss Quotient was quite a surprise. Stella Lane, who is on the spectrum, wants to improve her sexual skills in order to, maybe, find a life partner and begin the family her parents so desperately want her to have. She hires Michael, an escort with a lot of debt and some secrets, but who strangely ends up being exactly the man she needs, to help her get better at having sex.

I haven’t read the book yet, but it’s definitely on my list. The plot line seems very original and not cliché but cliché enough. If that make sense. (It’s a good thing) like I feel there obviously would be cute cheesy moments but I also feel there would be deep a serious moments. Where the characters will not only understand each other but also understand themselves. The characters seem to be lovable and have depth. Which I think is very important and what I think some authors lack in because it’s very hard to add depth to characters in a nice happy-romcom. But I have a feeling Hoang might execute the depth well. ( I really hope she does). But if she doesn’t then it might be the only downside of the book.
