The two main characters meet when she (Stella) hires him (Michael) as an ice sport to provide her with intimacy and sex lessons. Feeling pressure from her parents to settle down and have children, she believes she will first have to become better at physical contact which she struggles with as a result of Autism.
Unsurprisingly Stella and Michael hit it off almost instantly and he is able to show her that with connection/attraction she will be able to enjoy all aspects of a relationship. Of course there a few hurdles and misunderstandings along the way before they get a happy ending.
The plot and twists and turns are commonplace in romance, however the characters were different enough to be interesting for a while.
