I read this book in one sitting, I simply couldn’t put it down until I found out what became of Stella
and Michael. Stella is a successful and independent woman, this pretty woman role reversal appealed to me as so little is written about successful women in this way. Stella has Asbergers and finds social interactions really tricky. With the help of a caring and listening ear we see Stella blossom and become what she always wanted to be and what she actually already was - a successful and high functioning individual. The relationship between the two protagonists is touching and honest. The author has created 2 complex, 3D characters who you can’t help but love. I was sad when this book ended and maybe it’s too much to hope, but i’d like to read a follow-on book and find out what the future has for Stella and Michael.
