The romantic world is too white and too neurotypical and to see a book like this that takes all the ugly sides of love and says 'let's make it sexy' is one I can really get behind. This book follows Stella, a gifted young woman who has difficulty in social situations and romance because she's autistic. To counter this, she hires a male escort to teach her how to be better with people. It's one of those fanfiction-esque plots that we all hate that we love, but here there's something refreshingly new about this same old story.

The book doesn't fall into cliché- rather, it has moments of brashness and moments of quiet thoughtfulness, as well as some very steamy and swoon-worthy romances. I really enjoyed reading this book, and much like I did with Jasmine Guillory's 'The Wedding Date', kept finding more things to enjoy about it as I read along.
