I’ve just finished ‘The Kiss Quotient’ and I can’t wait to re-read it. This is one of those books that I would literally do anything to read again.
This was my first Helen Hoang book and I can fully say it won’t be my last. I wasn’t even on chapter 5 when I had already decided this was going to be 5 stars. This book left me giggling and smiling like an idiot for days after. The comedy, the characters the plot and just everything about this book is chef's kiss 💋
Stella lane is definitely one of my favorite characters to ever exist. She is such an independent woman who is so incredibly strong. Before this book I didn’t have the best knowledge on Asperger’s. Through this book I have not only fell in love with the characters and their love story but I’ve learned so much about Asperger’s and exactly what Asperger’s is. Although Stella has Asperger’s and the book speaks on it Stella is not defined by it and we see through the writing everything about her that is so much more.
Stella and Michael have such an incredible connection. There is so much passion and love in this book through Stella and Michael but also Michael and his family aswell as stella and her family. We get to see into each of the characters families and how different the characters are and their strengths and weaknesses. Michael and Stella are 100% my favorite characters.
The writing in this book was incredible. I was absolutely hypnotized but her creativity, Helen hoang is such a talented author and I can’t believe i didn’t read this book sooner. This was an absolute page turner. I couldn’t put it down for longer than a minute. The cover is so gorgeous and really ties together the story in my opinion. If you haven’t read this book I highly recommend you do.
