This book is about an autistic girl named Stella who is fascinated by her job taking time out of her weekends to come to the office. She struggles with intimacy but her mother is expectant of grandkids. She decided to learn from a guy named Michael who gives Stella control and makes her feel comfortable. Their relationship was expected to be that of business in a way but turns into something much deeper than that and this book slowly introduces their characteristics as individuals and as a pair.
I fully predicted this book to be one of a basic nature. Predictable and following the storyline of a lot of books in this genre but I was pleasantly surprised and now I am addicted to this book.
I instantly related in a way to Stella from the struggle with social cues and her autism has been written in an honest light with not a shade of negativity. I can’t wait to read more!
