The cover gives the impression of the time with the twined flowers typical of embroidery designs. My first impression is of a book teeming with conflicting characters, fearful of changes to the accepted order of life. Without the lines of communication we have now you feel they would be panicked about the unknown. The taster makes me want to know how they deal with this situation.
