I really liked this book! I always love a good historical fiction book, and this one didn't disappoint. The story is different from any other I had read, and explores new themes from those I usually find/look for in historical fiction (e.g. the usual romance that develops at some point), and had me hooked from the beginning! The characters felt very real and I was not sure where the story would lead. Also, I liked that lots of things were placed only as hints, as it allows the reader to interpret them in different ways, and guess what would/could happen next. Although now I wish there was a second book as I'd love to read what happens next, and how the story develops. I don't know if there will be one, but I would love to read a sequel.
