This book gripped me from the start. The characters were very likeable and the main character's back story made me feel really sorry for her.

The creepy goings on in the rental properties in the seaside town and the mysterious, slightly shifty older brother kept me interested, but I was disappointed when I found out more about both.

There was so much potential for bigger scandals amongst the townspeople but the tasters of the drama and crimes and potential underhandedness were just a tease and didnt really connect that much to the story.

There was a lull in the middle, but I powered through all the same, hoping that the ending would shock it surprise me but it didn't. Still a really enjoyable read though!
