This is a book I would love to have taken on holiday. A first class thriller and a book that should be savoured like sipping on a very fine wine!
Instead I turned the first page early on a Saturday morning and the last on Sunday Evening!
It is a book that envelops one in the story. Beautifully written, clear, concise and every word important to the unfolding story.
I have read hundreds of books, most thrillers, and to be able to read such a well thought through plot and not have a clue until the very end is mastery indeed.
We see a poor girl being enveloped and adopted into an extremely wealthy and powerful family, seemingly the perfect fairy tale ... but nothing is ever as simple as one would think !
