This story takes place in Littleport, a town with a large division - the wealthy and the poor. The wealthy live a life of luxury whilst the less wealthy serve them.
The story follows Avery and Sadie - one living on each side of the divide. Yet despite their differences, they form an unlikely friendship.
Then, one day, Sadie is found dead. With her death ruled suicide, it isn't long before accusations are thrown and the town begin blaming Avery for her murder.
The book was a bit of a whodunit with many twists and turns which I didn't see coming. The book was easy to read and engaging. Read it rather quickly. It was really well written - the characters were well developed and it was overall a very enjoyable book
