Book was ok but no more than that. When I read the blurb I couldn’t wait to read it but felt disappointed
The main character is Avery, her parents died in a one vehicle car crash and she spent some years living with her grandmother until her death.
She became friends with Sadie Loman, a rich girl always her family who owned the holiday lets in Littleport where the story is set. Sadie took Avery into the family and they bought the grandmothers house and Avery had the job of helping manage the lets.
One evening there was a party,the plus one they called it, police arrived at the door to say that Sadie had been found dead on the beach and it looked like she had jumped from a cliff as a suicide.
Story kept jumping around so one from one time to another that sometimes I was lost until something came up and I realised.
Didn’t really get the feel of any of the characters, normally someone I’m rooting for.
The few chapters near the end when things came together was good but just wish the whole book had been more like that.
