This story is already so suspenseful just from this short extract. Although she gets the least amount of mention, Sadie's story is one that I can see myself being completely drawn into. I feel I want to learn all about Parker's mannerisms, and what his incentive is going forward.
The description of the setting really sets the tone, with the storm symbolising the upcoming shake up the lead character will be at the centre of. I could genuinely see myself reading this book in one long sitting, as the more I read the excerpt on here, the less I wanted it to end.
There are many things to uncover in this book, and I for one cannot wait to see what lies ahead. The cover alludes to many upcoming problems, all of which will be an interesting read. What a great start to what could only be described as a phenomenal introduction!
