I'm always a bit weary of thrillers because sometimes they aren't very gripping at all and way too predictable but I actually quite enjoyed this one. It had me intrigued throughout.
I've read another book by Megan Miranda which I also enjoyed but I definitely preferred this one!
I was intrigued right from the beginning. In a town that's filled with secrets and lies the book starts off with what was labelled as a suicide of a young girl but many question as to whether it was a suicide after all? And Avery her best friend trying to unveil the truth before she is blamed for the death.
It's a really nicely paced book with subtle twists and turns in all the right places and then the ending was the biggest shock of them all! The book was a little slow in parts but I've yet to find a thriller that isn't really like that!
If you like thrillers or mysteries then I would highly recommend.
