I really liked the blurb of the book so was very much looking forward to reading this.

The main character Avery narates the story and it is told in past, the night of Sadie's apparent suicide, and the present, where Avery sets out to prove that her best friend did not commit suicide and that she was murdered.

I enjoyed the overall story and didn't guess 'who done it' but I found it very slow paced and struggled to keep picking the book up. I thought there was a lot of descriptive detail which was good but you were given only slight details about Avery's past and I wish it had gone I to more detail about that. I would have also liked to know more about the character of Connor. Overall a good read but slow paced.
