I hadn't read Megan Mirander's first book, so was looking forward to reading The Last House Guest, unfortunately I had figured out the killer within it's first few pages, but I did carry on , needing to know the motive.
Each summer for over a decade, two girls meet up and are inseparable, Sadie and Avery are like sisters every summer, until one if them ends up dead, and the person they have as a suspect is Avery
Realising she has to clear her name, Avery is anxious to find the real killer and clear her name, not easy when the local detective and Sadie's brother Parker are convinced that she is the one they are looking for.
Not a bad read, just very slow and in some places repetitive. Sorry
