Now this book is definitely in my favourite genre! I was excited to get a copy of this and to read it.
I enjoyed the plot of this novel more than anything else I think. At times, it kept me hanging on to every word and in that state of desperately wanting to finish it. It was compelling and engaging which is great.
I also enjoyed the characters - all as normal and flawed as the rest of them really but I did find them incredibly engaging. I do think that the best characters are the ones that you have strong feelings about: good, bad or otherwise.
I do think that this writer really has a talent for making things come to life on the page. I enjoyed reading this book and have recommended it to friends and relatives who also enjoy reading this genre.
Overall, I have given this 4 stars which it thoroughly deserves for the sheer brilliance of it. Such a good book.
