"There is magic in books." Well, there sure seems like there will be magic in this one judging by the imaginative opening chapter and the second chapter set in 1945. I really enjoyed reading the author's note about what inspired the book, namely the desire to ensure the human cost of events like Hiroshima are not lost to memory. I think this will be an emotional read.
