I loved the front cover. It reminds me of the Japan flag. Having read the synopsis I wasn't sure if I would like to read it as it was about Hiroshima.

However, the first part of the story was intriguing. I liked how it started with the author's thoughts. Then how the first part is written with short sentences like Haikus, a form of Japanese poems set in 2018. Then the second part that retells Grandfather's account set in 1945 with dailogues and description, not like a Haiku. I would love to read the rest.
