I thought this would an intense historical story that I wouldn’t like, but I was pleasantly surprised! I wasn’t expecting the poetic form, which (although has become a bit of a fad lately) adds a lyrical quality to the writing. I was thrown again though when it switched back to prose, I would have liked it to stay in verse throughout.
I feel like the cover could reflect this lyrical style more...it at least needs a paper crane on the front!
