The cover drew my eyes to this book, very simple yet interested in what the story will be able.
The writing style in the first chapter is a bit odd to read, breaking up each sentence into four line and doesn’t see to add much to the story it is telling. The second chapter then goes back to normal jumping back in time. There is not much character build up I found which did not lead to be enticed into reading more, and felt quite bitty with its use of lots of characters being introduced in 2 chapters with not very big description or background.
The use of a cliffhanger at the end of the second chapter did lead suspense into the next chapter, but felt very like we know where the story is going.
