This story gives a understanding perspective that i had not thought about! The details of the aftermath of the nuclear weapons destruction and the effects on the people are astounding I am of an age to understand the sentiment of this book, the initial feeling of loss and dismay came across very well and the subsequent time looking to fulfil the promise made and how the original book became smaller with each failed search until the last page was folded and delivered, my own perspective has been enlightened and wish that I would be able see Hiroshima now and visit the memorial museum but that is very unlikely! The style that the book written is unusual and when I received the book I was unsure how if would read as it was I should not have been concerned although it did take me a few attempts to get started. This story is well worth the read.
