I was expecting this book to be more aimed at children than it was. I was pleasantly surprised by just how emotional and gripping it was! I really felt for the characters and found myself deeply interested and invested in their search!
I feel like I've learnt a lot about the bombings in Hiroshima and the happenings around that time, that I wasnt aware of before!
This was not my usual genre of story...I'd usually choose crime fiction or thrillers, but I an honestly say that I absolutely loved it. The style of writing made it un put downable and I finished it in just over a day because I was just hooked! Heartwrenching and full of surprises. I did predict the ending but the journey was fabulous!
