The style of this book is truly different, the way the book is divided into sections makes it the type of book you can dip in and out of when you feel ready to read the next stage. The prose is written in such a way that it is both moving and insightful. This is not the kind of book I would normally pick up but I will most definitely find myself reading this again. It is one which needs to be read again and again to take it all in. The book finishes with a sheet of origami paper and instructions for making a traditional paper crane; this is a really nice touch. The illustrations are very bold and combined with the layout really add to the power of this book. I strongly recommend this book.
