This book felt dark from the first few pages. The first parts as introductions to characters and scene setting were interesting, but I felt like I wanted to know more e.g what was the point, what was going to happen to link the characters. I found it hard to relate to the characters or the story, and although it was interesting, I didn’t overly feel inclined to keep reading.
